Welcome to AndyJeter.com. If you are a return visitor, you may have noticed some new additions. I've overhauled the site with a new layout and format. My focus is on creating a simpler design while delivering more content. In addition, Though you're still able to check out my resume, gallery, and links, I've made the site more of a Web 2.0 mashup of my contributions on other sites like Flickr, Youtube, Squidoo, etc. At any rate, I hope you find something useful or entertaining. If so, let me know and be sure to bookmark my site.

A Little About Me

I'm a Graphic Arts teacher and artist in Cape Coral, Florida. I was born and grew up in Gainesville, Florida where I graduated from Eastside High School with an International Baccalaureate Diploma and attended the University of Florida.

Throughout my youth and into adulthood, I've been very interested in art, music, and technology so it's not surprising that when I attended the UF, my major was Fine Arts: Electronic Intermedia. It was at UF, that I met another of my life's passions, my wife, Sam. After graduating from UF I was hired to assist teachers and students with computers at my high school alma mater, Eastside. My experience at Eastside mad me realize that I wanted to teach. After two years at EHS, I moved to Southwest Florida with my wife. In my first three years, I taught reading and art . Seeking a school closer to my newly built home in Cape Coral, I was hired at Diplomat Middle, where I currently teach Graphic Arts.

Outside of my profession, I enjoy several activities including travel, video games (especially strategy and simulation), playing piano/keyboard and sax, music (mainly punk, ska, and reggae), working on various computer related projects (this website, podcasts, etc.), and of course art.
